The Software Engineering Research Group, led by Dr. Spiros Mancoridis, investigates many challenges concerning the design, maintenance, and analysis of software systems. Our focuses include topics in reverse engineering such as malware analysis, and source code analysis and transformation to support software maintenance, program comprehension, and performance optimizations. We also investigate topics in autonomic computing with projects focusing on system monitoring, fault detection, and fault mitigation.
